January 27-28, 2018 This race is the highest dog sled race in North America at an elevation of 10,500 feet. Races are 4, 6 or 8 miles in length. Dogs used vary from traditional Husky’s to Pointers. The dog sled race teams use 4 to 8 dogs and cross country skiers are pulled by 1 to 3 dogs (Skijoring).
March 3, 2018 A Half Marathon course designed to give every level of runner/walker an opportunity to experience the thrill and challenge of crossing the finish line after a 13.1-mile course. This event caters to the first-timer and seasoned athlete alike, and is a perfect opportunity to convene with other endurance enthusiasts.

May 5, 2018 The Grand Valley Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, 10K and 5K are made possible by Mammoth Marathons, a Non-Profit Organization made up of three race directors and many volunteers. These races were designed to encourage the whole family to come and participate in a great day of activity, regardless of their interest or running ability.
May 18-20, 2018 Featuring the world class Lunch Loops trail system, the Grand’s 15, 30 & 40 mile courses start and finish on Main St. in downtown Grand Junction, and takes participants over varied terrain while traversing the Tabeguache trail system (pronounced Tab-uh-Watch) to the distant reaches of the Magellan loop.
June 2 & 3 The Grand Enduro is a mountain bike race on some of the best and most challenging singletrack terrain Grand Junction has to offer. Produced by the local event team at Mountain and Desert (MAD) Racing, it promises a $4k pro purse and excellent amateur prizes. Designed by locals, but open to anyone up for a challenge!
June 9 Train to Hunt is a true test of physical fitness and strength as athletes from around the country face hunting scenario challenges at elevation. Featuring archery, endurance weighted hikes, and functional fitness components, participants not only test their overall archery accuracy, but also their shot-making ability when pushed to physical limits.

November 3, 2018 Full marathon and relay 2-person team marathon, 26-mile point-to-point along Rim Rock Drive and a downhill half marathon starting at the Highland View pull-off. The route winds through the Colorado National Monument and finishes in downtown Fruita in Circle Park.
